Cokeville to Afton

Starting in Cokeville, Wyoming you will travel north on paved SR-232 for approximately 13 miles. Here the road turns to gravel and follows the Smiths Fork River for twenty miles until you reach a junction with Smiths Fork Road shortly after entering the National Forest. You'll turn west on this gravel road for six miles. Here you'll reach Highway 89, which you will take north to Afton.
Once you pass into the National Forest (approximately 30 miles) you can camp anywhere, unless otherwise posted. There are no developed campgrounds along this route.
You will be traveling along the Smiths Fork River for about 30 miles.
