Chadron to Crawford

This loop makes a loop around the incredibly scenic Pine Ridge Recreation Area. You will skirt Chadron State Park to the west and then climb to the top of the Pine Ridge escarpment, a 100 mile long ridge that runs east-west through northwest Nebraska. From the ridgeline you will have excellent views of the many buttes, meadows and canyons near and far.

If you wish to set up camp for the night and do some hiking, may trails exist in the area.
